I’m a little late. But this is in response to Cee’s Share Your World Monday prompts. Looking at the questions this week, they are a little harder to answer, requiring a deeper thought/humanity on my part.
What is your most vivid memory of the kitchen in your childhood?
My most vivid memory is actually not a good one. But it is coming home from daycare one day, my dad had picked me up. At eight, my dad did not pick me up, that was my biological mother’s job. But that day, I walked up to the kitchen from the garage and found the microwave gone. Not on its stand. I remember my dad hugging my sister and I, he cried I don’t know if I did. All I remember is that woman chose to take the microwave and leave me behind.
As a child, who was your favorite relative?
Oh that is and easy one. My Aunt Birdie (not her real name but that is what we called her forever, until my stepmother had a cow). She was a school teacher and her and my uncle lived on a farm. But she always had art supplies and food and school supplies. It was a good place to be.
What did you or did most like about the first apartment you ever rented?
It was 400 square feet. Tiny. But I got to decorate it and clutter it and yes sadly clean it. But when I had it to myself it was just the right size. The worst thing about it? I shared it with my ex. lol
What kind of TV commercial would you like to make? Describe it.
I get to be completely narcissistic here. But it would be for a promo about a movie based on a novel I will someday right. I can dream can’t I?
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful that Twitch worked and I was able to see some awesome highlights from a channel because I missed the stream on Sunday due to life. (life!!) I am grateful that my phone and my computer have figured themselves out and that my mother will not be making anymore surprise visits at the house. (cross my fingers)
The week coming up? Well I hope I get some writing done. 😀
