Patience perseverance
A little bit of humility
This run may turn tumultuous
By the end
The end of the journey
At light’s last glow
Is a whole and beautiful soul
One falls down
Lays still on the ground
Two rise up
Pillars of support
Arise from the ground
That which has fallen
Three arrive on the wings of a cloud
Light pours in
All surrounded with love
One steps forth to pave the way
Walking forward
So others may follow
Perseverance Strength
Agility Perception and Caution
Illumination
Wisdom
Until west meets east
Stumbles and falls
Achievements and stalls
Though the path is overridden
Following those
That have gone before
Walking
Where others fear to tread
Soaring
Where others only dream of going
Singing with voices
To chase away fears
Look forward not back
To follow the track
Only seen by an illuminating light
Buffered and supported by wind
Protected by wings
We fall down
But perseverance picks us up
Those that will come behind
May stumble and fall
But where there is a will
Steps will be built
To cushion the fall
Obstacles are opened
Moved out of the way
Until the light fades
The path is no more
The wind has stopped
The pillars have crumbled
And the fallen one
Can no longer rise from the ground.
