Share Your World – 2015 Week 14

I’m a week late, but at least I’m here. Broken toe, holidays, crazy life… and a post for the Absolute Write Blog Chain. Yes I write this chalk full of excuses because I have em. 😀

Share Your World

What type of music relaxes you the most or do you prefer silence?

Oh. It completely depends on what is going on. If I am highly agitated I will of all things throw on the soundtrack from Batman, oh lord the name escapes me. The one with the Riddler and Two-Face. I have a very eclectic range of music ranging from Techno to Enya and Celtic instrumental. Now on my Youtube (J Elyzabeth) page, well… It’s even more of a hodgepodge because I was making assorted annoying (I was being a brat) play lists for a Twitch channel I was watching.

Show us a two of your favorites photographs?  Explain why they are your favorite.   If you are not a photographer, think of a two favorite scenes in your life and tell us about them.  I am sad. I cannot post them as they are photos of two men I respect. I need their permission. But let’s say the photos have become a muse for me as I see them in answer to the writer’s block that I have been suffering.

What is your favorite tradition? (family tradition, church tradition, whatever)

I honestly do not have one. Things have become so fluid with all of us slowly making our own families.

If you could go back and talk to yourself at age 18 what advice would you give yourself?  Or if you are younger than 25 what words of wisdom would you like to tell yourself at age 50?

Do not get a credit card!! Your grandpa is correct. Save your money and do not go out with the next seven guys you meet. They are not worth it. Take the post in England and do not get married!

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Share Your World – 2015 Week 15

I’m on time with this week. And Missing last week’s. I’ll go back and do that one next. I am trying to get things done. I did post twice last week. It was the Absolute Write Blog chain for last week.  Enjoy

refrigerator.jpg0ae078ba-cfad-4bff-adaa-15155ec75ee7LargeRegarding your fridge, is it organized or a mess inside? Right now? It’s organized. Though I can guarantee that as soon as someone else open’s the door that will no longer be the case. I periodically clean the fridge out and put things where I think they belong. lol

Have you ever been a participant in a parade? What did you do? A few. Usually for my son’s activities. Supporting which ever group he currently was participating in. A few for a job I had where I got to throw candy and not be the person chasing after children.

How do you stand out from the crowd? I don’t I do not want to be the person noticed. Well no, I do want to be noticed, by one or two people but to have a swarm come after me? no. I guess what would make me stand out is that I can be rather bold. Not bold as in “I’ll do anything” but bold as in I will tell you what I think. If I think you are a safe person to share my opinion with. I can get a ‘take-charge’ attitude and run people over if I see something that needs to be taken care of. I try not to run my friends over, but sometimes it is easier to get things moving than wait for them to catch up.

How many bones, if any, have you broken? Oh, here comes the clumsiness that I possess. As a kid, only my right wrist. But since reaching adulthood, both wrists and currently a toe, again. I really should just quit walking. lol

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  (I borrowed the picture from Cee’s questions)

I am grateful for my three-day weekend last week. It was nice to have stuff got done and laziness was abundant. Looking forward too? The next weekend, actually Sunday night, 6 pm, HBO Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 2. I can’t wait!!1

Share Your World 2015 – Week 13

Yet again Cee has brought us brilliant questions.

I fear my answers do not do them justice.

What was your favorite subject in school?

Art, math… Anything not PE or lunch. Loved English as long as we were reading books and not taking horrid spelling tests. Even better? English classes where you had to draw to go along with what you were writing.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away” (George Carlin). When have you had such a moment?

What’s your choice: jigsaw, crossword, or numeric puzzles?

Oh number puzzles please. They are kinda fun. Though jigsaw puzzles are great too. Just messy and not as easily put away.

If you found an obviously abandoned car with $50,000 in the back seat, what would you do?

Not touch it! Back away slowly, call the police and wait. $50,000 in an abandoned car? Um… Have you seen the crime shows??? NCIS?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Of all things overtime. Not that I had to do it, but that it’ll put a little more in the bank next payday. 😀

Out of order – Share Your World 2105 – Week 11

List 2 things you have to be happy about?

I have a job and my car is running.

Do you prefer ketchup or mustard or mayonnaise?

Mustard please.

If you were to paint a picture of your childhood, what colors would you use?

red, black, maybe white

Do you prefer a bath or shower?

Shower or bath? Can’t I have both???

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

ummm… Okay, this post is a week late. Last week I just wasn’t doing anything and now I have made up the two posts. So I am current and up to date with the Share Your World weekly posts.

Arg… I still have to do tomorrow’s post…. hmmm

Share Your World – week 9

Week 9?? Where has 2015 gone? I cannot believe it is March already.

Here are my answers to this week’s Share Your World as hosted by Cee.

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

Oh! I am not answering this. Well it would be nice if they said I was somewhere in my late twenties, maybe?

Are you left or right handed?

Right handed, though out of necessity of breaking my right wrist twice (once when I was little and once again as an adult) I can use my left hand for right-handed activities. Although, very slowly.

If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to?

If I had to change my name? Genvieve. It works. 😀

Where do you hide junk when people come over?

Depends on who the people are. Usually in my room and I shut the door. I have been known to use the washing machine as a hiding area. 😀

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Finishing Season 4 of Game of Thrones. Getting blogs up for the week.

Last week? The amount of team work all the ladies in the upstream of my ItWorks leg did in order to get customers and orders in for all of us. It was a reminder that we are not in this opportunity alone.
